Shema's winning illustration of the Best Print or Drawing category in the 57th Essex Open Exhibition 2016 for her work titled:
‘Artist at Work (Crawling)’
On a busy night in late November 2016 the 57th Essex Open was officially opened by Her Worshipful the Mayor at the Beecroft Art Gallery.
Artist’s came from the furthest parts of the county and from just around the corner to see the exhibition for the first time which again covered a myriad of styles, techniques and subject matter.
Selected by internationally renowned artist Polly Morgan the show appealed to everyone, such was its diversity.
Creative illustrative artist producing art inspired by my local community in Romford, Essex and beyond.
